So, let me tell you about this lady who thought she’d hired pros. Spoiler: she did not.
She brought in two different companies to tackle her ceiling—after springing for some absolutely gorgeous, imported-from-Italy wallpaper. Think luxury vibes, ornate patterns, the works. But the install? A total disaster. You could see seams, uneven edges—ugly stuff, especially for wallpaper that cost a small fortune to ship. Understandably, she wasn’t keen on trying again.
Fast forward: she called us. She’d peeled off the wallpaper herself, frustrated—and understandably so. She asked us to come in and start fresh.
Here’s what we did:
Flattened the ceiling
All the old wallpaper glue, residue, and any rough patches were smoothed out. We wanted a flawless canvas.
Matched the room texture
The walls had a specific texture—so we applied a consistent finish to the ceiling so the whole room reads as one cohesive design.
Primed it all
Before handing it back to her for the finishing touches, we primed the surface, ensuring everything looked great and was ready for paint (or anything else she wanted to do next).
She said she’d take it from there and handle the rest. No surprise—she was already feeling good again about the space.
Why she called us
Because she paid a premium and got poor results. Once she saw the poor quality from those wallpaper companies, she just needed a solid, trustworthy fix. That’s where we came in.
What this shows
Even high-end materials go sideways if the prep and execution aren’t right. With wallpaper—especially imported luxury paper—you don’t get a second chance. You’ve gotta do it right. And repairs? Even more sensitive. Matching textures, flattening surfaces, priming—it’s meticulous work.
In short: she wanted perfection. We delivered it. She saved her beautiful paper, and even more importantly, her sanity.
And the best part? She can now move forward with confidence—not worried about seams or mismatched textures anymore.
